WOW it's been a while!

So the smoke has cleared, and I have realized that it's been ages since I posted anything on here. The answer to that is really two-fold.  Firstly, I've been incredibly busy in the studio... a very good thing!  Secondly, I have rebuilt my website to host all my archived prints to date... something that will continue to grow.

I have been doing a lot of work with mezzotint lately. The process is definitely labour-intensive, but I really love the aesthetic that comes along with all of the hard work. It's been a bit of a learning curve for me, but in doing so I think I've managed to pick up more and more with each print. Currently I'm on my 4th mezzotint in the last 3 months.  Here's a look at some of them starting from my first attempt through to my latest as well as my current project (the copper plate) at the end.

I also did a short bulino workshop a few months back. Here was what came of it...

And lastly, I had the opportunity to do a silkscreen workshop as well.  This was an extension on some past experience, but it was cool to get back into it for a week and do something kind of fun.

Be sure to check out my new website:   http://www.lainegreenway.com

Anyways, back to the studio.  Enjoy!
